Voices of Humanity Documentary

The European Union wanted an unconventional approach to educate the population about International Humanitarian Law and humanitarian aid workers in crisis zones.

In response, we created Voices of Humanity, a documentary that shows an unseen side of war— the daily life humanitarian workers strive to provide to both civilians, and themselves, when they are caught up in armed conflict.

The film follows three humanitarian workers in volatile areas—Ukraine, Gaza and Sudan. By showcasing the normalcy they try to retain in combat zones, we created a new way to document war.

We launched Voices of Humanity at film festivals around Europe. This environment created a direct response to the disposable nature of content that shows up on our phone screens. Festivalgoers were able to digest a complex story in a setting where they could not simply swipe away.
